These are all the original technical specifications for the Finnsailer 35.

As you can see, our boat does not have the usual Perkins 4.236 diesel engine.

The first owner of the boat did not like the sound level of the Perkins engine, so he ordered the Ford 2711E diesel engine to be installed in the boat at the time of delivery.

If this is a better engine than the Perkins i do not know. Our enginge has 5233 hours on the clock - as of April 2018.

The engine had a total overhaul in 2008.
